She treats both male and female patients with a variety of pelvic floor presentations, including pelvic pain, coccydynia, sexual dysfunction, peripartum dysfunction, and urinary and bowel dysfunctions. Her expertise of the pelvis facilitates her ability to analyze and treat the full musculoskeletal system, from sport-related injuries to general orthopedics.
Rebecca is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and works as a personal trainer with private clients. She also earned her first yoga teacher certification after practicing yoga for over a decade, and went on to study in India where she earned her 500-hour Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT-500) certification.
Rebecca’s passion for physical therapy grew out of a lifetime love of athletics, including equestrian, dance, yoga, and weightlifting. Her personal journey with movement helped her recognize the empowerment one gains from learning about and connecting with their body. She is passionate about facilitating this sense of empowerment in her patients through education and precise biomechanics training. Studying yogic breathwork and philosophy, in particular, has tuned her in to the significance of the body-mind connection, and interplay between psychosocial factors and physical symptoms. Rebecca integrates all of her experiences and trainings into her work with physical therapy patients, creating individualized treatment plans while cultivating a supportive clinical environment.
